And it's not just the trash left behind since last year; it's a good old-fashioned neighborhood picnic! Join us for our 2nd annual Southern Crossing Neighborhood Association (SCNA) Picnic and Trash Pickup Saturday, September 8th. Excited? We sure are... Here are the details:
Saturday, September 8, 2018
Set Up: 10 A.M. - 10:45 A.M.
Trash Pick Up: 10:45 A.M.
Picnic: 12:45 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
Blakely Park, 1155 Brookswood Blvd
WHAT TO BRING
Bring a blanket, a chair, and a crowd-pleasing side-dish.
Leave the rest to us. The SCNA and via its sponsors are providing a good old fashioned picnic and BBQ including hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, utensils, and more...
The SCNA is also providing gloves, garbage bags, grabbers, prizes, fun and games, and really cool stuff for a silent auction to help raise funds for the high costs of mailing invitations.
Most importantly: Bring the whole family!
WHAT TO EXPECT
A good time if not a blast!
Moreover, we will be seeking feedback for what you like, don't like, and your vision for the neighborhood. We want to hear from you!
This year's event (2018) is sponsored by Moonglade Press, 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Safeway, the Old Mill, Cascade Ice, and funded by the city of Bend. Prizes and a Silent Auction is sponsored by the Old Mill.
